Morgan Houberg Eventing
at Celestia Farm
Morgan has been immersed in the equestrian world since childhood, growing up surrounded by trail horses and showing in saddleseat. Her passion for horses evolved from trail riding in the Midwest to jumping in local Hunter/Jumper shows, where she trained for five years before transitioning into the jumper ring. Under the mentorship of Jen and Brody Robertson, she moved up to competing in high-level jumpers and began exploring eventing with a young mare named Nina, sparking her love for the discipline. In 2019, Morgan relocated to Lexington, KY, to gain hands-on experience at an upper-level eventing barn, where she developed her skills further. After selling Nina, she purchased Cappy, an experienced FEI 2* horse, and together they progressed to FEI 3* events, achieving top finishes at major competitions like Morven and Ocala. Morgan's commitment to learning is evident in her extensive training with top riders, and she has honed the ability to develop young horses from backing to competition. Her goal is to continue producing horses for the future of eventing while competing at the highest levels.

In addition to her own competitive success, Morgan is deeply committed to the development of her students and their horses. She takes pride in providing tailored education for riders at all levels of eventing, ensuring that each student progresses at their own pace while receiving top-notch instruction. Whether they are in full training, partial training, or taking weekly lessons, Morgan is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where riders and horses can thrive. She emphasizes not only the technical skills needed for eventing but also the importance of building a strong, trusting relationship between horse and rider. With her experience in both riding and horse care, Morgan ensures that every horse receives the best possible attention, whether it's through daily management or specialized care. We are excited to guide you through your eventing journey and help you achieve your goals, one step at a time.
